The Opel brand targets electric vehicles. For the first time in its lineup, the German automaker is offering an all-new sixth-generation Corsa with a battery-electric version with a range of up to 330 kilometers. Opel engineers have chosen the brand's most popular model to finally push electric mobility out of its hitherto insignificant niche. The Opel Corsa is an absolute bestseller - since the world premiere of the model in 1982, more than 13.6 million units have been produced. The five-seater Corsa-e with an autonomous range of 330 kilometers according to the WLTP1 standard is ideal for everyday use without any functional or other restrictions. The 50 kWh rechargeable battery can be charged up to 80% of its capacity very quickly - in just 30 minutes.

In addition, the Corsa-e is fully equipped to take advantage of all charging options - whether through a simple home network cable, a Wallbox at home or a high-speed charging cradle. In turn, the battery has an eight-year warranty. The charge level of the battery can be checked at any time using the "myOpel" app, allowing you to constantly and conveniently optimize charging times and costs.

In addition, the duration of the autonomous run can be changed by the driver, who has the opportunity to choose one of three driving modes - normal, eco and sport. Thanks to the maximum power of 136 hp. and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, available at any moment, among the main features of the behavior of the electric model are excellent response and excellent dynamics on the road. The Corsa-e takes only 2.8 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 50 km/h and 8.1 seconds2 to reach 100 km/h.

Corsa-e also introduces a range of driver assistance technologies and systems known primarily from higher-end vehicles. Among the most striking technological innovations is Opel's IntelliLux adaptive matrix LED light system, which offers a first in the compact car segment without the risk of dazzling other road users.

Radar-assisted adaptive speed control and sensor-based side protection also make their debut in the new generation Corsa. Part of the model's equipment is the Side Blind Spot Assist (SBSA) system, as well as various driver assistance systems for parking maneuvers.

New infotainment systems ensure constant and complete communication for the driver and passengers of the new generation Corsa. The Multimedia Navi system with 7-inch color touch screen as well as the award-winning Multimedia Navi Pro system with 10-inch color touch screen also offer the new Opel Connect telematics service.
